The HOWO 8x4 18 cubic meter asphalt spreader is modified based on the HOWO TX-W 8X4 cab chassis. It has an 1800+3800+1350mm wheelbase, is equipped with a MC07H.35-60 engine, and an HW13709XSTC2 gearbox. The upper part is an 18 cubic meter asphalt tank that can be loaded with emulsified asphalt and hot asphalt. It is equipped with an intelligent RY40-25-160 air-cooled hot oil pump and 36 asphalt nozzles at the rear. The spraying width is 6m and the spraying volume is 0.2-3 kg/m². It also has an imported diesel burner (calorific value: 10×10⁴kcal/h), automatic thermal oil heating, and an intelligent computer control in the cab (Siemens, Germany).

Sinotruk Chassis
• Basic Platform: Based on the HOWO TX-W 8x4 350hp cab chassis, featuring a three-stage wheelbase design of 1800mm, 3800mm, and 1350mm.
• Powertrain: Equipped with a SINOTRUK MC07H.35-60 engine (350hp) and an HW13709XSTC2 9-speed transmission, it offers smooth power delivery and strong heavy-load climbing capability.
Intelligent upper body system
1. 18cbm large-capacity tank
• Stainless steel construction with double-layer insulation, supports storage of both emulsified asphalt (room temperature) and hot asphalt (160-190°C). A roof overflow prevention device and side access provide safe and easy maintenance.
2. Fully intelligent spraying system
• RY40-25-160 air-cooled hot oil pump: 10 m³/h flow rate, 28-meter head, 2900 rpm, 22 kW power, fast and stable material supply. The air-cooled design is suitable for high-temperature environments and increases lifespan by 30%.
• 36 stainless steel nozzles: 6-meter wide coverage, adjustable spray rate from 0.2-3 kg/m² with a ±1% tolerance. Supports "one-control-one" independent opening and closing, creating various spray patterns such as rectangular and trapezoidal.
• German Siemens Intelligent Control: Operated via a touchscreen in the cab, it allows real-time adjustment of the spraying function, nozzle spray rate adjustment, spray position movement, high and low speed switches, power take-off pump inlet and outlet switches, and background alarms.
3. Efficient Heating and Insulation
o Imported diesel burner: Calorific value 10×10⁴kcal/h, dual-circuit thermal oil heating system, temperature control accuracy ±2°C, heating rate ≥15°C/h, and an intelligent temperature control module that automatically sets the optimal operating temperature based on asphalt type.
4. Hydraulic System
The asphalt pump uses a QGB950 type, a proportional valve (Taiwan EFBG-03-160-HF), an automatic reversing valve, and a relief valve. The asphalt pump hydraulic drive motor is model 05-110-BD31. The hydraulic pump is a CBQ550-L or a GPC4-50R with rear engine power take-off. The radiator is a Risheng brand.
5. Humanized design:
• High-pressure cleaning device: Quickly rinses the tank after application to reduce residue.
